About Us

The Kanabec County Art Association just isn't for Kanabec County residents. We welcome all area artists of all abilities and interests. The organization has been promoting arts and arts education in East Central Minnesota since 1962.

In 2012, KCAA celebrated it's 50th anniversary making it one of the oldest rural arts organization in the state.

Members of KCAA enjoy a supportive community with fellow artists. We strive to provide a variety of arts activities and opportunities in the area.

KCAA meets the second Monday of each month (excluding July and December) at the Kanabec History Center at 7pm. Member dues are $12 per person.

Most Monday mornings a casual meeting of artists takes place at the Kanabec History Center from 11am - 2pm. Bring your current project and a snack and enjoy an artistic atmosphere to work or to get feedback from other artists.

The Vasaloppet Art Show is an annual exhibit KCAA holds during the weekend of the Vasaloppet Ski Race in Mora, MN.
